With our daytime looks completed, we couldn't leave you guys hanging without any ideas on how to style your outfits for a night of romance! So, part two of this collaboration consists of two outfits, perfect for night life, a nice intimate dinner for two, or a romantic evening out on the town. We decided to give this outfit post a little twist and share with you guys or thoughts on our perfect Valentine's Night, that would correlate with our outfit of choice.
In my opinion, I'm really a simple girl. However, I am a girly girl and I love and appreciate a very well thought out, and planned day or night. If I had MY way, for ONE special night, this would be the short version from beginning to end...I want to wake up to breakfast in bed, something simple but yummy, like an omelet with the works, a mimosa, a single rose, and a sentimental card with a note of instructions, stating the time in which he will arrive to pick me up for our day festivities. Of course, I would wear the previous outfit featured for our daytime looks. After our day was well spent and full of exciting and eventful activities, he would hand me my second rose, instruct me to be ready at 7 pm and we would part with a kiss.
Because I am unaware of exactly where we will be going, I must pick an outfit that will allow me to showcase some sex appeal but still remain classy and appropriate. I chose a body con dress with horizontal stripes that feature rows of vivid color, perfect for the holiday. I pair this with a matching pair of hot pink and cobalt blue sandals and a striking cobalt blue blazer with a unique u shaped back and zipper detail for warmth if it gets a little cool. I accessorize with the same clutch featured with my first outfit. He picks me up, hands me my third rose and our destination ends up being his house. I'm looking lost and confused. He gets out, comes to my side of the car, opens my door, puts out his hand, suggesting for me to get out and we walk to the door. He rattles his keys until the lock gives, opens the door and the house is full of roses, candles, teddy bears, candy, the whole nine ya'll! I'm stunned, everything is beautiful! There is a table decorated with the perfect linen, plates set, a vase with the rest of my roses inside, a crystal candelabra lit and my favorite wine chilling on ice. Soft music is playing in the background and he leads me to sit at the table. Out of nowhere, out pops a man with a tall white hat and white jacket that says, "I will be your personal chef for the evening. I've prepared a fabulous meal tonight. Would you like to start with a glass of wine?" In shock and almost in tears, I nod my head in agreeance. He brings out two glasses, pours to perfection and he begins to serve the first course. We end the night with full tummies, the perfect movie, cuddling on the couch , great laughs and lots of love....now is that too much to ask, lol.
**Style Tip of the Day**
It's Valentine's Day, be SEXY! However the word "sexy" is defined to you, showcase that through your outfit!

Arika describes her perfect Valentine's Day as such...My perfect Valentine’s Day would consist of spending quality time with “that guy” ;) Because my birthday is February 13 and I typically go out for it, I’m ok with not doing the typical movies and dinner for Valentine’s Day. Everyone does that! The lines are long, the wait is even longer, and I typically just get frustrated. So, my “perfect” Valentine’s Day would be to spend time doing something we both enjoy! I would prefer to have dinner prepared at home and maybe make a stop at the Red box. Just that simple! However, I still like to dress up and get cute! With that being said, I wanted my night-time look to be a bit sexy without showing too much. I thought this red dress with shoulder cut-outs was perfect! It was form fitting and showed just enough. I added a pair of tights because it gets really cold here at night and a leopard clutch for a fun twist. This look is simple, but not the normal jeans and blouse. Check out pictures of the look below!
