Welcome back beauties! Yesterday was the first official day of Spring. What better way to say goodbye to frigid temperatures and the icy winter chill, than by brightening up those past gloomy days with fresh Spring outfits. You must know that I am absolutely, positively, beyond excited to share this collaboration with you. I am a fan and follower of many bloggers, however this YouTube beauty and fashion vlogger / blogger, Lover4fashion, reigns at the top of my list as my ultimate fav. I'm sure all of you have heard about her before. I mean c'mon, where the heck have you been if you haven't!
Since Spring 2015 was approaching and there were new trending colors on the color forecast, we decided to do a "Spring Style Swatch" and picked color swatches of trending colors to style a monochromatic look with. The color I chose was a shade of green called Lucite Green, which is pictured below. It's very reminiscent to mint green, just a shade or two darker.
After scrambling around the city for the perfect pieces, I felt like I hit the jackpot when I scored this super girly tulle skirt for $21. Can we say guiltless garb or guiltless garb? I paired it with a green and white, boucle textured material, which is sort of like tweed, jacket that featured silver chain links down the front of each side. I wore the jacket as my top and belted it closed with a skinny belt and kept it very simple and classic on the feet with a pair of cream sandals. For my accessories, I chose a gaudy, vintage gold necklace with sparkling silver jewels and a vintage style ring with a large cream stone, compliments of Twice Lucky Resale Shop. Get the scoop on this NEW resale shop in Houston HERE!! I felt so elegant and like a princess in this outfit. Besides my outfit, let's talk about this beautiful makeup application that was rendered by a local Houston MUA named London Watkins. ***Style Tip of the day***
Creating a monochromatic look has been one of the most re created looks I've done on my blog. Pick your favorite color or the color that most flatters your skin tone and style a head to toe look in a variation of shades. It's almost a bullet proof way to cheat "styling" an outfit. You wont have to worry if the colors you put together match perfectly.

Fash went for a more subtle and classic color, by choosing Toasted Almond. This color can also be compared to a sand or oatmeal shade. This color is very chic indeed, is definitely her style and can transition throughout all seasons. See her color swatch below.
As I'm sure you know and were probably expecting, Fash killed this look! As always, she keeps it simple, classy and DEFINITELY fashionable!
