Have you ever had a chocolate mint mojito? I've had other flavored mojitos but not this one in particular. It definitely sounds like a tasty concoction, and is on my list of drinks to try. This mint dress from Mary Ellen's Sewing Room Boutique paired with chocolate and cream accessories, put me in the mind of mint leaves and smooth milk chocolate.
This day started off quite dreary with rain in the forecast, but the Lord decided to shine some light just in time for me to get the perfect shots. This tube style maxi featured trendy detail of flirty fringe around the bust and aside from the color, the fringe is really the attention grabber. I knotted the dress on one side to keep from covering up my shoes and I felt like it gave this look a more effortless chic appeal. I wanted a deep contrasting color to pop against such a light and feminine color, and I felt like nude would've blended in with the soft nature that mint has. I decided to go bold with these chocolate sandals that featured gold buckles and my newest edition lovecortnie, spotted calf hair clutch. Minimal jewelry and just my brown skin as the perfect backdrop to this beautiful color and a refreshing chocolate mint mojito is served. What do you guys think? ***Style Tip of the Day***
A maxi dress is definitely a Spring/ Summer staple. Especially cotton/ poly /spandex blends. They keep you cool and cute in the heat of scorching Summer's day. They're perfect for Saturday strolls in the park, the beach, picnics and many other outdoor outings.
